I’ve grown up mostly through hardships, when my first love ended, when I wasn’t able to teach my dog to behave or when there wasn’t enough knowledge to solve a problem and I failed.

Failures have been bitter to accept and learn from. Sometimes I have made the same mistakes more than once. Then I have started to think why one should grow up all the time. Isn’t reasonable behaviour enough?

These are the thoughts behind my painting exhibition.

Because the subject matter seemed so deep and endless I invited others to debate it too by using their own media. Besides the painting exhibition, there is a booklet called Time to Grow Up which consists of paintings, photos and stories made by talented Finns.
